This course of three experiential workshops is designed to introduce you to the practice of TRE and teach the essential skill of self-regulation in preparation for taking up TRE at home on your own. You will be taken through the main principles of how TRE works and guided in how to use it safely as a valuable and effective self-help tool.
TRE is a mindful body practice which dynamically releases stress, tension and trauma stored in our bodies from both recent and more historic life experiences. By using a set of simple exercises we can trigger therapeutic tremors in the body, ‘recalibrating’ our central nervous system and interrupting the release of stress hormones. TRE restores a sense of calm, re-balances vital body systems and builds resilience physically and psychologically.
