The Shiatsu College

 Nicola began her studies of human energy in the orthodox field with a degree in Psychology and Physiology; she extended this to the study of Shiatsu in Japan, where she lived for two years from 1978. Nicola is also interested in herbal medicine, energy work and healing, which she has studied for many years with different teachers. 

She now combines her areas of expertise, teaching living anatomy and physiology, Shiatsu, herbs and counselling for the Shiatsu College and in Europe. She is also a qualified teacher, and runs teacher training courses for Shiatsu teachers. 

She has worked in a pioneering medical practice for the National Health Service, and now has a private practice in Bristol. She has set up the Bristol Branch of the Shiatsu College. She is an active member of the Shiatsu Society, and has been the Chair, the Assessment Co-ordinator and is currently on the Assessment Panel.
