Jane is the Principal of the Shiatsu College Manchester. Jane has a background in massage (ITEC qualified) and was one of the first graduates of The Shiatsu College. She has been a full-time shiatsu practitioner since 1989 with her practice focusing on people living with HIV and AIDS.

Jane has been a shiatsu teacher since 1994, working primarily for various branches of The Shiatsu College, but also teaching for other training establishments in the UK. She is also an Assessor for the Shiatsu Society.

Jane also teaches Ki Aikido which she has been studying since 1990 and uses her experience of this discipline to inform her teaching of Shiatsu and Ki.
