Shiatsu is one of the most popular forms of complementary therapy. A steadily increasing number of people are seeking Shiatsu treatment, whether for medical reasons, to enhance the quality of their lives, or simply for the increased sense of well-being which Shiatsu gives them.

The study of Shiatsu is remarkable in that the giver experiences almost as much benefit as the receiver, right from the beginning of training. Shiatsu practice involves learning about our own bodies from the inside, and how to harness our energy effectively.

This is a particularly exciting time to be studying Shiatsu, as its reputation as a highly effective and popular therapy is growing rapidly. At the Shiatsu College we have helped to train doctors, nurses, psychotherapists and medical auxiliaries, as well as teachers, photographers, chefs and gardeners.

Students from all walks of life have found that they develop their own unique perspective on Shiatsu and their own special touch. Shiatsu is an exchange of energies, between giver and receiver and also between teacher and student. You, the student, have something to offer as well as to receive.
