Course Structure
 

Each of The Shiatsu College's seven regional branches meets The Shiatsu Society's requirement of a minimum of 500 hours of class based study time.

The London Course consists of six, four day modules each year. In the final year, one of the Spring modules takes the form of a Residential Workshop, at which the Third Year students from all The Shiatsu College branches meet.

During the last four terms of the course, students are required to attend at least nine sessions of the College's supervised clinic which is held from 3pm - 8pm on Fridays.

First Year Course Dates for Academic Year 2004 - 2005
 

All modules run Friday to Monday inclusive.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday classes commence at 10 am and finish at 6pm.
Monday classes begin at 10am and end at 5pm.

The six modules for the academic year 2004/05 take place on the following dates:

Fees:
 

The 2004/05 First Year fee is £1,650.

This is an inclusive fee that covers all your Shiatsu theory and practice, musculo-skeletal anatomy teaching, course assessments and examination marking. A non-refundable deposit of £450 is required to secure a place on the course.

Course fees are discounted by £100 if deposits are received by 31st May 2004. In this case the deposit is reduced to £350.

Thereafter course fees may be paid as a monthly standing order of £120 commencing in September 2004, or termly with £400 paid on the 1st September 2004, 1st January 2005 and 1st May 2005.

The 2005/2006 Second Year fee will be £1,750 which includes all Shiatsu theory and practice, physiology teaching and supervision in the Student Clinic.

The 2006/07 Year Three fee will be £1,800 plus 4 days full board (£180 currently).

This covers all Shiatsu theory and practice, pathology teaching, clinic supervision, a four day residential workshop (teaching & accommodation), final exams and assessments, marking of case histories and dissertations and graduation costs.

Although we endeavour to stick to our projections, The Shiatsu College London reserves the right to review fees annually.
