Why choose The Shiatsu College London?

Because we train confident and sensitive practitioners who have a comprehensive grasp of their subject.

With over 10 years' experience of professional Shiatsu training, we are able to offer you:

A broad range of teaching styles

; A clear, coherent framework of theory and practice
Continuity of contact with a core group of
teachers, as well as with your fellow students
Small class sizes with close attention from experienced teachers
Regular opportunities to practice your Shiatsu on teachers and assistants
A student clinic in which advanced students can practice on members of the public
Help for you to develop your own individual style.

We offer part-time weekend courses so that you can take our 3-year Practitioner training at a pace that that allows for consolidation of practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

The course includes practice classes, Qi Gong and optional one-to-one tutorials. We also offer graduate supervision seminars and a Postgraduate course.

The Shiatsu College London considers that developing competence and confidence takes time. That is why the Three Year Professional Training totals 72 days of formal class tuition. In addition to this second and third year students must give a minimum 18 treatments at our supervised clinic.

Our Student Clinic is an excellent way of receiving low cost shiatsu treatments and finding out what you could be doing in two or three years time.

In short, our aim is to give you the best possible balance between theory, technique and self-development, the three essential ingredients of professional Shiatsu training.
