Welcome to the Shiatsu College Newcastle

Studying Shiatsu is a life-changing experience!

Here in Newcastle we pride ourselves in providing a high quality supportive learning environment to enable our students to reach their full potential.

We believe our Shiatsu training programme provides an unparalleled opportunity to not only study Shiatsu, but also to grow and develop as an individual and to make changes in your life that will allow you to live in a more present, satisfying and balanced way.

In 2010 we are introducing a more modular programme, allowing greater flexibility and the opportunity to explore the wonders of Shiatsu and energy work without necessarily committing to becoming a Shiatsu practitioner. We are sure you will find something of value whatever your level of interest or experience.

Here in Newcastle we offer the following courses and workshops:

Open Programme - a range of short courses and workshops for both the beginner

Core Programme - an in-depth Shiatsu study programme

Clinical Programme - a year including clinical experience to prepare you for professional practice

Continuing Professional Development - regular workshops to support and develop your practice

 

Shiatsu Treatment

Low Cost Shiatsu Clinic - an opportunity to receive Shiatsu from students on our Clinical Programme. The clinics are held on Saturday afternoons in central Newcastle. Cost: £20/£15 unwaged. Booking essential. Please contact us at the College to make an appointment.

16th October, 6th November, 11th December 2010, 15th January and 5th February 2011

 

Anne Palmer - appointments with Anne are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Jesmond and Gosforth. An initial consultation and treatment with Anne costs £50. Subsequent sessions £45.

Location

All our classes and courses, together with the low cost clinic, take place at the Newcastle Buddhist Centre, in the centre of Newcastle. The Newcastle Buddhist Centre provides a welcoming, peaceful and contemplative environment, and is easily accessible from the main railway station and the local metro system.
